Author Guidelines

Sanskriti: Journal of Humanities welcomes original, unpublished research papers in language, applied linguistics, literature, folklore, history and culture.

Structure

Articles must be written in English (submissions in Bengali or other languages are not accepted) and include:

  • Title 
  • Abstract
  • Introduction
  • Methodology
  • Analysis and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Author bio

Formatting

  • Font: Times New Roman; title 18 pt bold, body 12 pt
  • Spacing: Single line spacing
  • Length: 4,000-8,000 words, including references (articles under 4,000 words will not be accepted)
  • Abstract: Maximum 200 words
  • Keywords: Maximum 6
  • Author bio: Maximum 50 words
  • Author details: Name, affiliation, phone number and email address for each author
  • Headings and subheadings should be fully formatted so that no further editing is needed. Please submit without illustrations or decoration.

Referencing

Follow APA 7th Edition. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification. Mendeley or Zotero is recommended for compiling references.

Language

Check grammar, syntax and typographical errors carefully. Quotations in languages other than English must be accompanied by a font file and an English translation.

Plagiarism

All submissions undergo strict plagiarism checks. By submitting, authors certify that the work is original and that all sources, published or unpublished, are properly cited. Plagiarism of any kind leads to disqualification.

Review

All papers undergo blind peer review. Authors can check their paper’s status in the acceptance email sent after the submission deadline.
