Copyright and Licensing Policy

Authors who publish with Sanskriti: Journal of Humanities agree to the following terms:

  1. Copyright Retention: Authors retain copyright of their work. The journal is the first publisher of the work, licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license.
  2. Additional Distribution: Authors are allowed to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with proper acknowledgment of its initial publication in Sanskriti.
  3. Pre-publication Sharing: Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as this can foster productive exchanges and result in earlier and greater citation of the published work.
