FOCUS & SCOPE

Sanskriti: Journal of Humanities is an open access, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research in the humanities. Published biannually, it serves as a platform for the critical discussion and dissemination of scholarly work that aligns with its focus and scope.

 
Subject areas
The journal welcomes original research in the following fields.
History
Research on historical events, cultures and societies, including the methodologies and theoretical frameworks used to analyse them.
Literature
Studies of literary works, authors, genres and criticism, across poetry, drama, fiction, non-fiction and other forms of literary expression.
Folklore
Studies of oral traditions, myths, rituals, customs and vernacular cultural expression.
Cultural Studies
Explorations of cultural practices, identities and expressions, including media studies, gender studies, postcolonial studies and related interdisciplinary fields.
Education
Investigations into teaching and learning, covering educational theory, pedagogy, curriculum design and development, educational psychology and educational policy.
 
What we publish
Two types of contribution are considered.
Research articles
Original, rigorous research that contributes to advancing knowledge in the areas above.
Reviews
Critical reviews of significant issues and scholarly books that address current and relevant topics in the humanities.
