Publication Ethics Statement

Sanskriti: Journal of Humanities follows high ethical standards to ensure integrity, transparency, and fairness in publishing. We follow the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines.

All authors, editors, and reviewers must follow the rules given below.

Authorship Policy

  • Authorship is given only to those who make real scholarly contributions.
  • To be an author, a person must:
    1. Contribute to the research design, data collection, analysis, or interpretation.
    2. Help in drafting or revising the manuscript.
    3. Approve the final version before publication.
    4. Take responsibility for the work and its accuracy.
  • People who only give funding, technical help, or general support should be mentioned in the Acknowledgements, not listed as authors.
  • The corresponding author must confirm that all listed authors meet the criteria.
  • Changes in authorship (addition, removal, or change of order) after submission need written approval from all authors.
  • Practices like gift authorship, guest authorship, or ghost authorship are not allowed.

Duties of Editors

  • Editors must judge manuscripts fairly and without bias.
  • They must keep all submissions confidential.
  • They must ensure a timely review process.
  • Decisions must follow COPE guidelines.

Duties of Reviewers

  • Manuscripts are reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers.
  • Reviews must be objective and constructive.
  • Reviewers must keep all details confidential.
  • Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest.
  • Reviewers should alert editors to possible ethical or research problems.

Conflict of Interest

  • Authors must disclose any funding or financial support.
  • Editors and reviewers must avoid conflicts that could affect fair judgment.

Data and Research Responsibility

  • Authors must ensure their data is accurate and available when required.
  • They must follow proper reporting rules.

Research Misconduct

  • Misconduct includes fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and improper authorship.
  • If misconduct is found, the journal may withdraw, correct, or retract the article.

Ethical Oversight

  • All communications between authors, reviewers, and editors are confidential.
  • Author and editor details are used only for journal-related purposes.

Intellectual Property

  • Authors must obtain permission for any copyrighted material used.
  • For long quotations or materials beyond fair use, written permission is required.

Journal Management

  • Sanskriti is an open-access journal.
  • Authors do not have to pay submission fees.

Post-Publication Policies

  • Authors or editors may request corrections or retractions if errors or ethical issues arise.
  • Retractions and corrections will be clearly shown on the journal website.
